Fall officially arrives this week (yay!) and every year I do a new fall wreath… and I love putting them together.
Especially when they’re as easy as this one.
Our trees have just started to turn so I found some lovely fall foliage courtesy of my local dollar store.
I’ve had this rusty wheel for a few years, and I have no idea where I got it… but I love it anyway.
I trimmed down the stems of the foliage and grabbed my handy dandy glue gun.
I glued the leaf picks into the side groove of the wheel….
…going around in a sprial-like pattern.
And because I used my glue gun I can take it apart any time I want to.
This wheel could be repurposed in so many ways.
I glued a few extra leaves in here and there to fill in some bare spots.
And that’s it. My fall wreath for this year is done.
Now I’m ready for fall to arrive with its fresh crispness in the morning air, the cooler nights, and the trees in all their glorious colours.
It’s our favourite time of year.
What about you?
