I primed and then painted the top with the same green as the rest of the table (SICO Mint Cocktail) and I found this cool screen at the dollar store and decided to use it as a stencil. It’s actually a room divider with small holes in it to attach several of them together with small hooks that came with it.
I taped off all around it and spray painted it (somehow my pic of this was deleted) with Krylon Metallic Silver. I was careful to spray the paint from directly above, and in light coats, so I wouldn’t have any straying under the stencil.
Once that was dry, I taped off the edges as I went around the table and spray painted with the same Metallic Silver. Then I put on a couple of thin coats of Benjamin Moore Stays Clear urethane to protect it because that’s what I had on hand.
